This privacy policy describes how personal data is collected, used, and protected in the course of providing sworn and certified translation services, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation applicable in the Netherlands.
1. Data Collection
Personal data may be collected from clients when they submit documents for translation. This may include names, addresses, dates of birth, passport numbers, education records, legal or medical information, and other personal identifiers present in the documents provided.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Documents and translations containing personal data are stored securely and are accessible only to the sworn translator. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g., recordkeeping required by tax or professional regulations), after which it is deleted or destroyed.
5. Client Rights
Clients have the right to request access to their personal data, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion, as permitted by law. Any such request can be submitted via email.

The collected personal data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling translation services and preparing legally valid documents. It will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
4. Confidentiality
All information received from clients is treated with strict confidentiality. As a sworn translator, I am legally bound to uphold professional secrecy and safeguard all client data.
